The mother of an eight year old Central Florida boy is fighting back after her son is suspended from school for using his fingers as a play gun.

Formatting in #1 is a bit skewed. Did you reset the hyperlink?

ETA: If that was my son he'd likely get arrested for giving them the finger.

Registering gun owners to prevent crime, is like registering Jews to prevent a HOLOCAUST.

    Fixed the link in OP.

Also more detail in the following link - note particularly the last sentence: "code of conduct prohibits students from playing with invisible guns."

Giving the finger is protected speech under the First Amendment - even for school children. Point away!

"Threat reduction" by eliminating all possibilities, and "social conditioning" by stigmatizing/penalizing all "unacceptable" (by whose standards, BTW?) are all ways to the end of Those In Charge not having to think about anything or ponder if something is an actual threat or indicates a propensity towards violence/criminality later in life.

Would somebody please contact the Thought Police and make sure they have my correct address/GPS coordinates? Based on what I'm thinking, I will probably be shot, then tried - all without bothering to arrest me.

    stay safe.

Public school policy is not law. The public school should tread lightly and be prepared for a civil action.
