At the risk of breaking one of the big no nos on this site, I am not surprised. And honestly? I expect it every time I see blue lights chasing an ambulance. I cant really say more than that, because of aforementioned rule, but what to make of it? It looks self explanatory to me.

There is not enough information to make anything out about this incident, except that a man got shot by the cops and died.

What the cops relate does not match the stereotypical reaction to too high a blood glucose level (hyperglycemia), or to too low a level (hypoglycemia). Less frequently, delirium is possible, but usually manifested as confusion and "fuzzy-headedness". Violent outbursts are rare. Since we do not know what med he was taking, we cannot even begin to guess at a reaction to taking "too much" of it.

This searching out of articles that suggest misconduct by cops has IMHO little place here on OCDO - especially when the incident being reported has nothing to do with the open carry of a properly holstered handgun by a law-abiding citizen who is not employed by the government to do so. Those that want to engage is such behavior are more likely to get a friendly and supporting response at places like CopWatch.

stay safe.

Very little information but it wouldn't be the first time a girl friend and mother lied to cover up for someone.

You know just turning their live around story.

I would like to hear the 911 call and see the rest of the reports.

Agree on both counts - totally.

No rush to judgement is justifiable as a result of such posts.

When a routine of finding and posting these incidences occurs it would seem to place it in the same category as bashing - further evidenced by placing it in the Social Lounge to avoid the obvious infraction of "not about OC".

Please do not continue this trend. All should remember that even the Social Lounge has its limits. Making a judgement call - this exceeds the limits, therefore locking it.

Added:
A high profile, much publicized case may have a place on a state specific sub-forum if there is a direct relationship.
