How about that for a first date? Who would lean on a railing on the 17th floor?

What would you have done if you were her date? Ya know she just died ...

If the railing on a balcony can't support the weight of a 130 lbs woman then there is a serious defect with that balcony.

Im guessing the boyfriend might have helped the railing break. Or maybe he threw her over and then broke the railing.

It would seem that she apparently climbed up on or stood on the railing which did not bear her weight and collapsed - that coupled with her elevated height pitched her forward beyond the deck platform.

"'He looked at the balcony, and he told her, "Look, this thing looks unstable. Hey, maybe you want to get down," the source said."

    I'm guessing no second date?

This type of accident used to be common in south Florida. Shame, some mistakes you just can't undo.
