today, me, my lawyers and a certain LA city and their lawyers met for a settlement conference.

the city ended the day with an offer of $85,000.

3 months ago it was $15,000....... then it was $35,000 and today it started out as $50,000.

This meeting is a requirement by the court before trial so we all had to attend and the city was basically required to make a formal offer.

The city knows that the precedent setting case for these types of issues of Glik vs Boston where the plantiff was awarded $170,000 plus lawyer fees and he only spent 1 day in jail.

I know that as trials near cities man up and pay up.

Depositions are supposed to start in 4 weeks.

Work is defined by value, not by pain.

and thus what is the value of civil rights and human rights and natural rights ?

so far the city has put it at $85,000 but I put it much higher.

juries have also put it much higher.
