If it is not on Tribal land, then how are they legally operating a casino?

Goldie's Shorline Casino

A casino I used to go to all the time when I lived in Seattle. Nothing to do with this, but a casino, in Seattle, not tribal.

[edit: the link seems to be bad, but I called the number and the casino is still there.]

I don't recall any casinos allowing carry ... losing gamblers can get a little pissed off...

People should be able to carry in any place the public owns or is invited to enter.

Nowhere "allows" carry. If it's not "disallowed," it's allowed.

"Everything which is not forbidden is allowed" longtime part of Anglo-American common law.

That being said, I can understand some casino's disallowing carry. However, Legends Casino (Yakama Nation) doesn't. Considering the city of Toppenish's saying is "where the west still lives" and there's a big cowboy and Indian theme, no one here is afraid of lawfully carried guns. From my knowledge there hasn't been any incidents in the casino lately, I think there's been a couple in the (huge) parking lot in the past half decade but those have involved the type of people who don't obey door signs anyway. That's back to the old "gun control only affects people who obey the law" argument, and over here, they know that.

The last report of cpl holders in Washington, Yakima County was far from highest numbers per capita.
While many do carry in Yakima county but I would not say it was do to gangs though I wish it was true.

Why would you think gang members wouldn't frequent casino's? Maybe you haven't been in some of the large casino's around the State on a Friday or Saturday Night?

No, I don't go to casinos. I have better things to do with my money. I see gambling as an unhealthy vice that can destroy families. I would rather save my money to buy more guns.

If you "play your cards right" that one gun purchase could be three, or more ;)

There was a shooting at the Muckleshoot casino either last night or super early this morning (heard about on the radio at something like 2 in the morning).

The place was almost dead (no pun intended) when I got there. So much for their weapon (gun) free zone. I see that is works wonderfully well.

Purely a technicality 509……I'm not giving you much of a hard time ;)

Goldies Shoreline Casino is 5 blocks North of the Seattle city limits, in Shoreline, WA.

It was still there last time I cruised up 99 and the address and phone you used are current.

A 63 year old did the shooting/assault. Doesn't sound like a legitimate use of force at all.

According to the police account, Castro later admitted to police that he'd been upset with Mora and Beasley for their comments and for kicking his car. According to the account, Castro conceded he had not been in fear for his or his wife's safety when he chased the men. He also acknowledged, according to the police account, that neither Beasley nor Mora had any weapons in their hands at the times of the shootings.
