We are now running on a new, and hopefully much-improved, server. In addition we are also on new forum software. Any move entails a lot of technical details and I suspect we will encounter a few issues as the new server goes live. Please be patient with us. Awesome!......that was way cool. The two word commentary was very appropriate.
BTW, bear was cute and cuddly and obviously not hunger.....enough.

Not in a tree but close on the ground. They're nosy. That one was a little too nosy to have suited me though.

Yeah, I thought you'd appreciate/like that video. Question, though ... even being half-grown, do you suspect that Mama bear was somewhere close? I've been in the Great Smokey Mountains where foolish people would stop and get out of their cars to take pictures of the "cute little black bears," not understanding that the very protective Mama bear is always close by.
In this video, I think the hunter did a good job at not confronting the cub, but the look on his face at the end was priceless...
Yep...mamma and brother/sister was just down the trail. Black Bear mothers aren't as wild eyed protective as Grizzles. They usually just shoo the kiddies along without much fanfare.
