Thought it was JUST the NSA hosing some terrorist's rights?

Some tools local police are using against the citizenry called the "Kingfish" and the "Stingray".

You can have a phone app to upload the goods. Who's intercepting it?

Minnesota has paid out millions for data breaches by state agents that used the info for sexual, personal and political gains. Now they have this, AND WAIT! THAT"S NOT ALL!! THEY HAVE NO ACCOUNTABILITY EITHER, as the legislators didn't know they had these devices!

“I think there’s something to be said for the fact that policymakers did not have actual knowledge of this, meaning an agency or jurisdiction can get away with it for a while,” said Lesch, an assistant city attorney in St. Paul. “We may have to do something about that.”

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot? "May" have to do something about it??

"I sound like a typical cop, but if you’re not doing anything wrong, you don’t have anything to worry about, and cops have bigger things to worry about,”....~Sen. Bill Ingebrigtsen, R-Alexandria / former deputy sheriff

It would seem the Fourth Amendment went the way of the rotary phone. We really should have had a memorial service for it or something.

Liberty is so strongly a part of human nature that it can be treated as a no-lose argument position.

From the cop’s perspective, the expression “law-abiding citizen” is a functional synonym for “Properly obedient slave".

"People are not born being "anti-cop" and believing we live in a police state. That is a result of experience."
