    Library Carry News Article

Thought this might be worth putting up here. Sound pretty anti to me, unsurprisingly.

"patrons may not remove a firearm from its holster, rest their hand on the firearm, or in any other way intentionally draw attention to the firearm, such as opening the jacket to display it or constantly touching it."

Seems like very poor paraphrasing of applicable RCW statutes. They could have been more succinct and direct with their reference to Washington State Law but the statement above does not seem to be in conflict with what is considered acceptable under the law as it stands.

    How to upset a Librarian:

    1) Threaten to ban Catcher in the Rye.

    2) Threaten to cut off patron's access to internet porn on public computers in plain sight of children.

    3) Chew gum loudly.

My God! It's full of guns! Er, stars...
Freedom can never be lost, only given away by ignorance, by choice, or at the point of a gun. Here in America we can still choose.

Give them enough time, they'll make a rule that prohibits, looking at, adjusting, touching, smelling , talking about or thinking about the firearm while you're there. Just pretend it's non-existent, or, goodness, if you talk about the firearm near to it, it might just get sensitive and go off.

Any idea who this Dave Bowman gentleman is?
