Don't know if that's going to square with CGS Sec 1-225(e):

(e) No member of the public shall be required, as a condition to attendance at a meeting of any such body, to register the member’s name, or furnish other information, or complete a questionnaire or otherwise fulfill any condition precedent to the member’s attendance.

Visited the capitol bldg this week .. they'll have a whopping TWO metal detectors up.

If you park in the garage I don't know how you'll get into the bldg....none are near that entry point.

I filed a FOIC complaint last year about the metal detectors that were there in late January 2013 during the gun violence committee hearings ... right now, this case is pending before New Britain Superior Court...no decision was made on the case yet in any venue.

And I filed a second complaint this week regarding metal detectors at a judicial bldg that held a committee meeting that I was refused entry into for metal detectors and other pre-conditions-to-entering-the-building reasons.

Everyone who is forced to go through a metal detector at the Capitol Bldg this year should file a complaint with the FOIC which is right across the street on Trinity (18-20 trinity) St. Don't let them tell you that you cannot file ~ you believe something is a violation of 1-225(e) ~ take it to them. Filing a case there is free and required if you want to argue the point.

Or be sheep ~ up to you.
