Hello. I will be moving from Reno to tucson in about 2 weeks and figured I should introduce myself. My names Billy, and I'm an NRA and GOA member. I have checked out the AZCDL's website and I intend on signing up as a new member as soon as I get settled in. Been OC'ing in Reno for over a year with no issues. Northern NV is very gun friendly as I can see by the posts here that AZ is also. Looking forward to the move and making new friends.

Welcome to AZ Billy. Hey maybe you and Rusty Young Man can get a OC picnic or something together down in Tucson while the weather is still nice. ;) AZ does have its fair share of anti-2A folks. Many of them moved from places like CA, NY, IL and want to make AZ just like their old places.... :( AzCDL is doing a great job keeping that from happening, but they can use every hand on deck so to speak right now as the anti-gun/anti human rights crews (Bloomberg etc have targeted AZ). Just as we want to see rights come to CA & NY, they want to see as many rights as possible stripped from Arizonan's

Yup. Same thing in NV. Still gun friendly but got people from CA moving here all the time and trying to change the laws. Wish they would just leave us the hell alone.

Welcome to sunny, dry AZ BillyT! As FreeInAZ said, we have our share of antis who have moved in from the slave states and want to make AZ just like their old home state:(.

If you ever want to get together for an OC lunch, let us know. The weather as of late has been very accommodating, if unusually-timed.
Hope you warm up to Tucson as much as I have. I think it was the little southwestern cultural events that made me love the place (I'm from the PHX area originally).
