Maryland Mall Shooting at yet another gun free zone. January 25, 2014 johnrlott

Of course, just as important, it is essentially impossible for your average citizen in Maryland to obtain a concealed handgun permit. Permits are issued to ex-cops and a few politically well connected wealth people. With one of the lowest permit issuing rates in the country, criminals and terrorists in Maryland have virtually nothing to worry about in terms of a permit holder stopping them.

Question: Given how much these killers crave media attention, is it a coincidence that this occurred right before President Obamas State of the Union address? Did this killer think that it was likely that Obama would talk about his attack in front of the entire nation?[my emphasis]

    ...Truly Sad...

Another Armed Maniac in a Crowed Mall on Saturday Bent on Mayhem and Destruction.

Marylanders are Disarmed by Their Government, and then are made to Think that 'Gun-Free' Zones like The Mall Actually Work.

Anti-Second Amendment Rhetoric was a Corner Stone in The Code of Conduct for The Mall at Columbia: http://www.themallincolumbia.com/con...of_conduct.pdf

"The chief said police were still working to clear the mall and were searching for any additional victims. He said no shots were fired by police in the course of the response.

Chief McMahon said the mall had drilled on responses to active-shooter situations in the past. The shooting drew officers from departments around the area to the mall, which is located about 25 miles northeast of the District."

well we know everything we need to here, obviously an angry white male, probably a veteran, who reads Sarah Palin's blog and listens to Rush Limbaugh got out of hand and when shooting spree.

If Maryland doesn't want this to happen again they need to fix their lax gun laws, open carry should be illegal, the local police should have discretion to deny carry licenses, and they need to close the gun show loophole and ban assault rifles.

No. Don't quit your McJob. If it was so easy, humor and sarcasm, then everyone might do it, not just the professionals. A good man knows his limitations.

Sarcasm? Hopefully, very hard to tell just from the printed word or text on screen.

Sarcasm is often used to mask true feelings. If the person has a history of drifting towards those feelings then the sarcasm is not really.

But then I have never worked at a McDonalds, though I stayed at Holiday Inn...

...and in the morgue, downtown at an undisclosed location in MD, a very lifelike looking mannequin winks knowingly in the darkness at his fearless leader, in a large city not far away.

Talking points are being reviewed for tomorrow's talking head giving the SotU address, in a speech written last week.
