I'm still trying to figure out how people rationally ...


Believe that police are personal bodyguards;
Believe that police have any legal obligation to protect you;
Believe that police have some Star Trek-type transporter that instantly beams them to the location of a crime in progress;
Believe that criminals and mentally unbalanced persons obey signs;
etc.


I am curious to see if you'll get a response to your response. Please keep us posted.
