Duct tape holsters

Looks flimsy to me, maybe a lot more layers to get more sturdy product. Myself, I can buy a latigo belly for 5 dollars, they are large enough to double the layer for a stiff holster. Add some hot wax and cooled then you have a tuff almost kydex type holster that is light and durable. Latigo leather is the leather used for leather lace shoe laces, it is very tough for how soft it is.

But a redneck wouldn't care if he could buy a better one cheaper. A redneck loves his duct tape. Also sound like something off the "red green show"

I live in a state where we take pride in being rednecks, don't ever remember seeing a duct tape holster. Hell I don't even see anyone OCing a nylon holster. Lotta plastic holsters though.

Yeah I don't see myself making one. If I did it would be much better designed. Maybe I'd build one if somebody bet me that I wouldn't/couldn't

I bet you 3 dancing monkeys you CAN'T make a sturdy-looking holster entirely out of ductape, and I raise you two dancing bananas and a sunglasses smiley that you WON'T wear it in public (does that satisfy the requirements for getting you to make one and post pictures of it here?)

ha!

Yall are so funny. I meant more along the lines of a co-worker betting me $5 I couldn't make a duct tape holster at all. As far as sturdiness goes, I'd mostly want to change the strap configuration. Realistically I have no use for making one of these since I either carry in a thigh rig or OWB. If I ever decide to get a CCW it'll probably be pocket carry. Even as a novelty a shoulder holster wouldn't do me any good. Just a waste of duct tape.
