Seriously, what does this have to with holsters? From the news report:

Police said the man moved to take the weapon out of his waistband because it was bothering his girlfriend and when he did, the gun went off and the woman was struck by a bullet.

Don't get me wrong, holsters are important, but seems like this guy is the type who would have pulled this off holster or not. He was "removing" the gun and it went off. Which more than likely means he put his finger in the trigger guard like the gansgta he is. And that's probably what G-bop would have done holster or not.

Yes but Im saying this with the utmost hope for humanity and suggesting that upon going to the LGS, or walmart, one would see on the packaging that individual holsters are designed for certain types of firearms and would then be compelled to do some research. And read the warnings in the manual that comes with even cheapo blackhawk sportsters.

I particularly like the "went off" part. Most have been a smart gun.
