    Thanked for OC'ing

I stopped by the Raleigh Wally World on Glenwood the other day. I went in to get a few things and had no strange looks but was stopped by one older gentleman. We met as we bumped into eatch other.

    Old Guy: "What ya carrying?"

    Me: "XDS .40"

OG: "Nice gun. Thanks for not being afraid."

    Me: "its our right, right?"

    OG: "Exactly! Take care!"

    Me: "You too."

As I turned down the aisle to get my things, some lady was just shaking her head. I thought about asking if something was wrong but didn't want to make it seem I was starting trouble.

The managers their don't even flinch.

You should have simply waved and said "hello" with the biggest grin on your face.

Open carry in Raleigh, great job. It isn't everyday that I actually see anyone else carry a gun anymore. I've carried my SR-9 in Walmart round home so often I don't think they even notice anymore. When I first said the hell with concealed carry and started carrying my SR-9 on the outside of my pants I did get a few questions and more than one old lady asking if I had a permit for that thing but everyone seems to have just faced it. If I show up my SR-9 does too. Have a great day.

What Wal-mart if I may ask? Any thoughts on trying to have an OC meet here in Raleigh?
