"It was a speech by a politician," Mitch McConnell Brings a Gun to CPAC

"But McConnell is also a five-term senator whose career has largely been characterized by the kind of earmarking that conservatives did away with following the tea party wave of 2010. And he's facing a challenge from an, albeit underfunded, tea party acolyte in his home state of Kentucky this year.

It's almost no wonder that McConnell walked onto the stage this morning with a rifle in hand, which he quickly passed to Oklahoma Sen. Tom Coburn, a hero among fiscal hawks. "

Geez... No wonder everybody thinks the 2nd amendment is about hunting. A caplock muzzleloader rifle? How antiquated can you get?

Well, you can get Mitch McConnell, who acts more antiquated than the muzzleloader he was holding.
The First protects the Second, and the Second protects the First. Together, they protect the rest of our Bill of Rights and our United States Constitution, and help We the People protect ourselves in the spirit of our Declaration of Independence.
