Thread: Can I Open Carry?
I am 18 years old, and live in kansas. Although I can't purchase a handgun from an FFL...federal law, and kansas law, allow 18 year olds to own a handguns, which I do. Don't respond saying I can't legally own a handgun until age 21, because that is incorrect. Kansas allows residents to open carry, as does Lawrence, the city in which I live. Does anyone know if an 18 year old can open carry under these circumstances? Is there any reason I should have to be 21 before OCing? This applies to vehicles, etc. Any responses are appreciated. Thank you

You will need to read Lawrence codes on OC in car. Some cities infringe on your right if you get inside a metal and glass box.

( Their unconstitutional ordinance require unloaded and fully enclosed in a container for carrying in automobile )
A case is currently pending to officially nullify their ordinance. http://www.jococourts.org Search for case no 14cv1882
