Advance your skills by deploying the Practice Spray at your instructor during a simulated attack!

Training? Use wasp killer, to kill wasps, and become a pepper spray expert at the same time.

After spraying and killing the wasp nest, assuming a visible one, know that wasps are territorial and will not establish a nest in view of an older larger one. I let my wasp nests grow until Milady wife complains before I kill them but leave the hulks hanging until I clean up for winter.

You want to piss someone off? Shoot some pepper spray at them ! Then they get pissed.

And pepper spray will only stop some of them for a few seconds ...

I do not recommend pepper spray or mace as the only defense.

I wish that's what we trained with. We have to use the real stuff, and we have to get sprayed by it before we can carry it.

Maybe some of the civilian variants. I obviously would rather have/use a gun if my life was in danger, but for those who can't, this IS a good alternative.

    Ever been maced?

Spray along with any other tool isn't perfect. I seen it work well and have seen it not work.

I wouldn't use it against a deadly threat if I had other means available.

    Gentlemen,

This thread is an announcement for a training class. It is not a discussion thread on the merits of wasp spray or any other off topic post. If you have a question about the training, please feel free to ask. If you want to discuss wasp spray or something else, take it elsewhere please.

My apologies Jim for allowing the divergent replies. Think that while to conversation was somewhat off-topic, the intent was to keep the thread active. In the future I will temper it.
