I'm going to be down in Texarkana visiting my folks and was wondering if there was anything going on in the area. Any events or walks?

Was also wondering if anyone knew of any decent places to shoot?

The only easily accessed place for the public to shoot is Smith Park in Miller County. It requires a $10/year permit, which you can get at the Miller Co. Sheriff's office on 71, inside the city limits of Texarkana AR.

While you're in town, take advantage of shopping at Academy.
