SNIP-Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant signed into law an NRA-backed bill creating an annual tax-free weekend every September for individual sales of firearms, ammunition, archery equipment, and certain hunting supplies. Senate Bill 2425 passed both the Senate and the House with strong, bipartisan support. The final vote in the Senate was 39 to 11. The final vote in the House was 102 to 16
