A (difficult?) question about apartments

My girlfriend lives in an apartment and the lease she signed has a firearms section. It says in effect firearms (and any other tool which intended use is inflicting injury) are prohibited. It does not list a penalty and since I am a guest I did not sign it. I have a CHL, does this matter to me at all? I assume I should carry concealed but I really don't like to.

If they were aware they could attempt (key word) to gave her evicted based on violation of the lease. But if your just visiting then they probably wouldn't have a leg to stand on. They can't trespass you from INSIDE her house, but could trespass you from their property that surrounds it. Deal with housing stuff on a regular basis its a PIA to keep bad guys out, so I can't imagine it'd be easy to keep a good guy out.

You are not bound by the agreement ... and they would have to prove that she knew you had a gun ... hard to prove w/o and admission.

If she is asked, she does not have to answer.

Or you could argue, and correctly, that the RKBA over-rides the lease.
