So, watched an episode in which they're working in 'gang territory' and he gets a late night call that somethings happing to the place he's in the process of flipping:
Pulls up [again, at NIGHT] in a $100,000+ Porsche, hops out... and goes to his trunk to get his gun, chambers a round and explains that he has a CCW as he casually walks to the front door.
Anyone see a problem with this? Sounds legit to me.
Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom. It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves.
"If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen."
I wonder if he ever had a desk pop like in the movie the other guys? Sounds like he would.
Yeah, you gotta laugh (or cry) that a show based in Nevada doesn't just follow the 'law of the land' -- guns are EVERYWHERE here. Be it OC or CCW, the show made it look ridiculous and that he had to justify himself.
Which would be cool if he were nonchalant about it.
Still, even the intro for the show has him room sweeping with a 1911. Should us Nevadans press this show to be more thoughtful?
