    OT: Olympia police respond to armed robbery at Toys R Us [GUN FREE ZONE}

    This store has a sign advertising itself as a gun-free zone. I guess the robber failed to notice it -- if only the store had a BIGGER sign it might have prevented the robbery.

    I'm assuming he just robbed the store ... but if he would have robbed the customers, would they then have a cause of action against the store in respect to stripping them of their RKBA?

    I would think so....

    The only thing missing for the photo to be "perfect" would be a gunbuster or "No Guns Allowed" sign on the doors behind him.

    Yep, can't convince my wife to stop shopping there. Needless to say, concealed means concealed.

    Oh, well, those signs SCREAM "Easy pickings here! Please rob us because we don't want anyone to be able to resist!"
    Provision for free medical attendance and nursing, for clothing, for food, for housing, for the education of children, and a hundred other matters, might with equal propriety be proposed as tending to relieve the employee of mental strain and worry. --- These matters obviously lie outside the orbit of congressional power. Mine has a no hoodies or backpacks sign that's huge and explanatory. The ghnbuster sign is tiny and under the 5x7 inch requirement. I laugh when I see it and pull my hoodie up. I break two unenforceable rules at once and nobody ever says a thing.

    Why feel sorry for us? Signs have no force of law here.
    No right is held more sacred, or is more carefully guarded, by the common law than the right of every individual to the possession and control of his own person, free from all restraint or interference of others, unless by clear and unquestionable authority of law. Union Pacific Rail Co. vs Botsford as quoted in Terry v Ohio.

    What the heck? You're responding to an incident in Washington by referring to Wisconsin law? Color me confused...

    My bank has a sign that says: no hoodies, sunglasses, or baseball caps. They have no problem with my 1911 though.
