Practical, hands-on training for those who represent our future - the students of today will be the leaders of tomorrow.

Kudos to Carrie Woolfolk and Dominion Range.

Several gun control groups and activists, including the Brady Campaign, were contacted about this story. None of the groups wanted to comment.

Well, what a surprise! When it comes to actual "common sense" and real-world "gun safety", these groups are silent... Typical.

I would assume that he had permission slips from all the parents ... good for all involved.
Did you not read the rest of the thread? There is much to be gained by watching the video too.

The teacher is a female and the parents were involved. It has become a regularly repeated home school event.

As reported by Al Steed Jr. of VCDL:

ROANOKE RIFLE & REVLOVER CLUB (RRRC) has had a great program going on for many years with high school students--from 3 or 4 high schools--not home study students. It is a shame that all areas do not have such programs--

Several VCDL members in this area help out as instructors--coaches--safety officers.

Wish I had classes like that back when I was in school. I doubt anyone was sleeping.
