Seattle Museum of Flight

Does anyone have experience or know the policy with the Seattle Museum of Flight regarding OC or CC? I cannot find any information on their website, and the forum search function here does not seem to be working right now. I plan to visit on Monday for my Son's birthday.

personally I would CC. just because there is no policy now doesn't mean there won't be one made the minute you show up carrying a firearm...

normally that's no problem for me, i just leave when asked to, but if it's a family even and you don't want to risk getting kicked out for it then carry concealed.

It is the museum of FLIGHT and not FIGHT ... lol

Really I would OC ... maybe they boot you out near the end of your visit .. then you can ask for your $$$ back

But you can glorify weapons of war there all you want.

My experience:
"Well I went half, and half. When I went in I was wearing my jacket unzipped, after about half way through the day I got hot and removed my jacket. I know the docent sitting at the shuttle entrance had to have seen my 1911, and didn't say anything. We then went to The Point Defiance Zoo for the lights. Obviously I was CC outside in the cold, but I took my jacket off inside the aquarium while watching the SCUBA diving Santa. It was kinda dark, so I doubt any one even noticed."

If you carry a tupperware gun you don't have to cc in the cold.......

I visited the Museum of Flight yesterday (5/5/14) with some friends and family. I decided to CC after reading the posts on here, didn't want any issues with getting asked to leave when it was my sons birthday and that was what he wanted to do. We went with some friends and family and one of the friends also CC'd. Half way through our visit the friend that was with me wanted to go into a flight simulator. He asked the attendant at the flight simulator section what he should do regarding his pistol and if their little lockers were sufficient. This was the type of simulator that rotated upside down, and even though we both had Blackhawk CQC holsters and they should have remained in place, it probably would not have been comfortable. The attendant contacted security who came over and told us that their policy is "no weapons allowed in the building". He then said my friend could put it in his car and come back in. I never informed him that I was carrying. He then said have a good day and left. He was polite, didn't ask any questions. We wandered around to meet up with friends and family. We were not followed, or escorted out. Just advised of the policy and then left alone.
