Burglars Use GOOGLE Street View To Scope Out Victims' Homes.

"Babigian asked Google Street View to blur his house — and it worked. Once you pull up an address on Street View, consumers can click the “Report a Problem” button — located at the bottom right, under the Google Street View image. CBS13 tried it out with two addresses, and Google followed through, blurring both addresses. Seth Rosenblatt of CNET said Google quietly started granting blur requests a few months ago to avoid potential privacy lawsuits like the company has faced in other countries.

Many times Google is flat wrong. The address requested is not always the address Google directs you to.

Also, so someone could blur all addresses on their streets, neighborhood, subdivision, town or city.

    What privacy issues in America?

Issues from victims of crimes by behavior that might be seen as negligent in a courtroom. Legally they can do what they do or they would not do it, is it prudent in the case of private homes, and homes with children playing when the pictures are taken, or with playground equipment that can be seen from the street view?

Would you find it appropriate since Google is anti gun to list gun owners residence on street view, as long as they obtained those addresses legally?
