Is it legal to open carry at Mammoth Cave?

I have been to Mammoth Cave once and I didn't open carry, and I saw no one else open carrying. I do know that open carrying in parks is legal, but is it legal to open carry at Mammoth Cave?

I don't want to appear to be a dumbass, that's why I'm asking on here, and not stuttering and stammering in front of a park ranger.
If you're not ashamed to own it, don't be ashamed to open carry it.

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Concealed carry, where you HIDE the exercise of your right to carry arms.

There is a Mammoth Cave National Park.

New Rules Concerning Firearms in the National Parks

As of February 22, 2010, a new federal law allows people who can legally possess firearms under applicable federal, state, and local laws, to legally possess firearms in this park.

It is the responsibility of visitors to understand and comply with all applicable state, local and federal laws before entering this park. As a starting point, please visit the Kentucky State Police website at: www.kentuckystatepolice.org/conceal.htm.

Federal law also prohibits firearms in certain facilities in this park; those places are marked with signs at all public entrances.

I am responsible for my writing, not your understanding of it.

Thanks, that pretty much answers my question.

Does this "prohibition" carry any weight of law? I know in the thread on Land Between the Lakes there is specific mention to it in a KRS but I can't find anything saying Mammoth cave is prohibited by law.

Are the cave entrances accessed through National Park buildings? (It's been a spell since my last visit, don't recall that detail.) If so that would preclude carry.

Why does that matter? I thought in 2010 a law passed saying we could open and conceal carry in National parks.
