Where I'm from, we can carry at a school if we receive written permission from school officials (K12/College).

Can we do that here in AZ?

In a word - No. Well actually, more like NFW (No F***ing Way).

K-12 carry is illegal under the Weapons Misconduct statute (ARS-13-3101).

Colleges and University governing boards have absolute statutory authority on firearms on campus. Since they are all right's hating Commies, guns are banned on every campus I am aware of.

To add to AzCDLFred's post, even if the GFSZA is not often enforced as a standalone charge, Arizona law does prohibit carry on school (K-12).
And his post is also correct on campus carry, though I was under the impression that non-students may carry while passing through campus without expecting to be charged, and would have it handled as a trespassing charge if they refuse to leave; students can expect "disciplinary actions" from the university, likely including expulsion.:(
