    Formal training of the nationís 1 million-plus private security officers is widely neglected, a surprising finding when contrasted with other private occupations such as paramedics, childcare workers and even cosmetologists, said Mahesh Nalla, lead investigator and MSU professor of criminal justice.

    In my state, there are training requirements...

    The state pay 10 mil for Murphy Security Services (per contract I obtained & online if you can find it).

    The guards get about 20 bucks an hour.
