Seen this on another post is this true. From a person that attended the picnic
Only issue I had was being asked to leave the Riverwalk because as it turns out is private property and they prohibit weapons. Security was cool about it and didn't make a big deal. No issues anywhere else.

The part we walked onto turned out to be private property. Apparently you go from walking on a public sidewalk to walking on a private one. The private part is owned by the GM Renaissance Center. There are no signs posted prohibiting weapons that we saw. Heck we didn't see any signs indicating we were going onto private property.

The city is bankrupt and the businesses there decide to drive more people away by removing the right to protect oneself? The results of years of Dumbocrat rule I guess but it boggled the mind the level of folly people can sink to.
