No problem. Open-carry advocates are law-biding citizens exercising their Second Amedment rights. 52.93% (307 votes)

Big problem. How can I tell a good guy with a gun from a bad guy with a gun? 41.9% (243 votes)

It should be allowed, but with more restrictions than now. 5.17% (30 votes)

Didn't vote. Our rights are not from the second amendment, they are either God given, or natural, depending on how you want to look at it. It seems like it's nit picking, but we run into an enormous problem when we go on believing that the government can grant us rights.

Discussions of the best way to get away with swimming through tyrannical nonsense such as the maze of MCL's we are faced with is one thing, but as an opinion based pole about people's moral thoughts, it's quite lacking.

Answer every question about open carry in Michigan you ever had with one convenient and free book- http://libertyisforeveryone.com/open-carry-resources/

The complete and utter truth can be challenged from every direction and it will always hold up. Accordingly there are few greater displays of illegitimacy than to attempt to impede free thought and communication.

We as citizens should be able to defend ourselves as we see fit. I prefer a rifle or an SBR but I won't carry one into a wall-mart exposed because of the image it portrays to others. However I do carry my P226 exposed as daily carry. Personally I don't care how or if someone defends themselves so long as they don't try to dictate to me how I do so.
But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security. Ok, but who in the world put a paddle holster on like that? The paddle part is supposed to go INSIDE the pants.

    My reasons to OC
    1. to raise awareness of the legality of open carry in Michigan
    2. To raise awareness that good people carry guns
    3. A deterrent to people so that I won't be targeted
    4. Because it's more comfortable than CC in most situations
    5. Because I can and want to
    6. Because it's perfectly legal
    7. Self defense

Is it just me or is the Blackhawk holster in the picture not made for that FNS9 he's carrying? The slide isn't parallel with the top of the holster, and in my experience all Blackhawk Serpa holsters have the gun site parallel to the top of the holster.
