True, especially since he did whatever he is accused of doing in her apartment if the woman is to be believed. I have always thought that NYC apartment door were virtually impregnable...guess not.

He is right though it is shady (shady acts by the cops) and vague (passive misuse of the english language).

It should have said they assaulted, abused, beat up, hurt.
