Mayor Jackson knows we are coming

"The protest is scheduled three days before official legislation is expected to be introduced to Cleveland City Council.

In response, city spokeswoman Maureen Harper said the legislation is one tool to help decrease gun violence in Cleveland.

"With it, if we can strengthen efforts to curb the flow of guns to convicted felons, and if we can decrease the chance of young children accessing firearms, we will be able to save someone's life," she said."

“Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes... Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.” - Thomas Jefferson

Looks like some sort of hippy counter protest is brewing.

Group plans to counter protest while open carrying there musical equipment.

"We believe that we should be carrying musical instruments in the street instead of guns," Daniel McGraw, senior writer for Belt Magazine and co-creator of the Open Carry Guitar Rally, said.

It was a great time in Cleveland. LOTS of pro-gun people, and about 1/3 that number of anti-gun people, including those with obvious anger-management and/or logical thinking issues.

The Cleveland police were fine, even telling a few people that they wished "we" would come to the square more often, as the druggies made themselves scarce upon seeing the well-armed attendees and cops.

The weather forecast of 60% chance of rain after noon was TOTALLY off.

What does a caring, sensitive person feel when they are forced to use a handgun to stop a threat?

    Recoil.
