Hope these heroes and judge don't go home at the end of their shift. The fact that they will go home safely says horrible things about this country. Also, the fact they have software to compare penises is well, behavior I expect from police officers and prosecutors. What filthy scum these thugs are.

Actually, and sadly, no. I can recall similar forced comparisons as far back as the 1970s (which is as far back as my knowledge of the sex offender world goes - and no, that knowledge was not from personal experience so just close your sewer minds, you perverts!

Photocomparator process goes back to around just after the Civil War. Back then it was done by manually changing the tilt of the negative. Today computers just make it easier.

This should be no crime at all, but thanks to the zero-tolerance drive to make sure that society can crush the real perverts out there kids like these get swept up as well. What amazes me is that folks still do that sort of stuff after cases like this regularly make the news. Want some good advice about taking photos? Never take a photo of anything that you would not want your grandmother to pass around at her next kaffklatche.

Beulah Ballnrecker demanded the same stupidity because she claimed she could identify one that offended her.

Fortunately, they weren't as stupid in the movie as cops and commonwealth's attorneys.

The girl started the whole thing, but they go after the boy???? Sounds like prejudice to me and malicious prosecution on the part of the CA. Is Poindexter running this foolishness?????

I've been hearing about this case on a local morning radio show. The police and prosecutor seem sick in the head to make such a request, but I suppose that's what happens when you have laws that don't consider the potential unintended consequences.

All because of an activity that should not have been made into a criminal matter.

To put it in context.... this is the same Manassas City Police Department from 'Tony's Pizza' fame years ago. The one where they referred to law abiding citizens who were peacefully eating their dinner as "tards", "f-ing retards" and "ass clowns".

I'd venture that no other society at any time would conceive of such a thing as these deviants. Maybe in Iran or someplace like that they'd hang the kid, but not this. We live in a very, very sick society and the "officials" and their enforcement drones are among the sickest.

Looks like the thugscrum is backing down? The lawyer says the kid is still in jeopardy though.

I work in critical care medicine and want to know how they "force an erection". I'm guessing they could inject a vasoactive substance directly into the penis but even then I'm not sure that would overcome the very un-erotic context. It almost sounds as if they've done this before????

Any physician or nurse who would do this should have their license revoked.

I'd say forcing an erection and taking photos goes too far but the charges shouldn't be dropped. Especially if the victim and her parents are on board.

Especially since if a 17 year old boy/guy/kid decided to send my 15 year old daughter a video there wouldn't be anyone to press charges on.... So he's getting a break.
