Wisc. Supreme Court refines pretextural 'defective taillight' traffic stops.

Because a long line of state and federal cases say an officer's mistake of law cannot be the basis for probable cause or reasonable suspicion, the majority said, the fruits of the search — the gun — should be suppressed.

Sad that an uneducated jurist found to not suppress the first time.

And that another uneducated person decided to appeal the correct decision of the appellate court.

Both should be fired. If you or I cost one of our customers 40K, we would be on the curb.

I just can't fathom under any circumstances imaginable a person would give their permission for the cops to perform a search.

They get paid to do that ... hardly wasting their time...wasting your money is more like it.

And I do hide things in my house ... what am I going to do, leave my property on the curb?

Every time a cop has been on my land, I ask if they are there to arrest me. When they say no, I tell them that I am certainly not going to talk to them and give them reason to arrest and "kindly" and sometimes not so kindly escort them to the curb.

No. It is a drilling combination gun with three barrels. From German Drei, three.

One of the key points in this type of argument for me is... what if someone tossed something illegal into your yard and they found it?
The pigs only goal is to arrest citizens. I would never in 1000 years voluntarily give them permission to snoop and search for a reason to cage me.

What the pig says "Mind if I look around?"
What the pigs means "Give me permission to search for a reason to cage/kill you"

    yeah it's a gasser

Well, if you have issued them a notice of trespass then you may have already invited them to your door....

I wish I had time to exhaust all the ways to stop the gestapo legally. All I can do is keep providing for my family and prepare for when the gestapo come to take our lives.

I have to wonder if, while commenting on different subjects, you use words like nig*er, spic, kike, & fa*got

No it isn't. That's an urban legend. And one can't even pretend it's true as twoskinsonemanns doesn't intend it that way.

Using a slur against a specific person and their specific instance is one thing. Disparaging an entire group using epithets renders his comments juvenile regardless if the epithet is about race, sex, religion, or employment status.

    Yeah, well, no lemonade here.

Epithet is not usually the adjective, epítheton, of a collective.
