IS NO PLACE SAFE? 27 minutes ago Three Shot Outside Philly-Area Hospital. Daily Beast

Three people, including a doctor, were shot at a hospital in Darby, Pennsylvania on Thursday, according to reports. Police were called around 2 p.m. to respond to a shooting on the third floor of a wellness center at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital. The building has since been evacuated and placed on lockdown. One gunman is now in custody, according to officials who spoke to ABC News, and there may be another still inside the building. The doctor, according to some reports, was shot in the head, though no official updates on the conditions of the victims have been given.

Is no place safe? You're delusional if you think otherwise. The hospital was a gun-free zone. But not only did the bad guy have a gun, but so did the doctor who shot him.

Couldn't possibly happen here, there are signs on the door that say that no weapons area allowed. Perhaps they need to install some signs.

    Arrest the shrink.

Might be quite a media event if the hospital tried.

    PA hospital shooting

In PA, do the gun-buster signs have legal weight like the 30.06 signs do in TX ?

No, the law is silent on such.
