Naturally, in the midst of massive increases of firearms throughout the U.S. population, combined with the relaxation of gun control laws, we're obviously awash in unbridled crime, right?

Quite the opposite. Crime is at an all-time low.

Mass-shootings have risen, but as the vast majority of them were on psychotropic drugs, evidence suggests that's the cause.

Actually, no. Sudden mass murders remain steady at about 36 per year.
