HuffPo Reporter Mistakes Earplugs For Rubber Bullets

There are no words to describe the absolutely incompetent tweet by Huffington Post justice reporter Ryan J. Reilly, who tweeted a photo of cheap foam earplugs and asked, “I believe these are rubber bullets, can anyone confirm? ‪#Ferguson”

#Fergurson "Yes, I can confirm that you believe those are rubber bullets. I can also confirm that you are a liberal moron with absolutely no critical thinking skills."

Maybe this is the kind of thinking we should encourage. We could mobius their efforts into leaving actual guns and ammo alone and banning cell phones, Italian cars, and hemp oil shampoo.

    ...a man can dream.
What sort of man would put a known criminal in charge of a major branch of government? Apart from, say, the average voter.

I believe in freedom, Mr. Lipwig. Not many people do, although they will, of course, protest otherwise. And no practical definition of freedom would be complete without the freedom to take the consequences. Indeed, it is the freedom upon which all the others are based.

The freedom to succeed goes hand in hand with the freedom to fail. - Going Postal, Terry Pratchett

And don't forget these wonderful, insightful reference guides for the media, as well now.

    Subsisto tutus. Subsisto secundus emendatio.

Tyrants come in all shapes and sizes, as do those who do their bidding. Anyone who tells you that the threat of tyranny is long over, is either a fool, an enemy, or BOTH.

The Huffing and Puffington Post mistakes fiction for reality routinely. Expectations are not exceeded.
"I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it." - Thomas Jefferson.

"Better that ten guilty persons escape, than that one innocent suffer" - English jurist William Blackstone.
It is AFAIK original to me. Compromise is failure on the installment plan, particularly when dealing with so intractable an opponent as ignorance. - Nightmare

I once mistook some ear plugs as candy corn, that did not end well.
Freedom is a bit like sex, when your getting it you take it for granted, when you're not you want it bad, other people get mad at you for having it and others want to take it away from you so only they have it.
