Omaha cops kill COPS crew sound man.

OMAHA, Neb. —Omaha police said three officers had no choice but to respond the way they did to an armed robbery at a fast-food restaurant Tuesday night that left the suspect and a television crew member dead. One 'Cops' television crew member accompanying responding officers was also struck by gunfire and later died. He was identified as Bryce Dion, 38.

"It was an officer's round that struck Mr. Dion," Schmaderer said.

    I'm amazed they admitted this.

But hey, an armed robbery, they couldn't just let the guys get away, right? I mean backing off and picking them up later was not an option. Collateral damage happens.

I thought those TV guys backed off and/or showed up after the SHTF. In fact I suspected that some of the televised stuff was reenactment.

See all those bullet holes through the window? That's quality marksmanship ! (10-20 feet away if my recollection of a Wendy's interior is correct).

Stupid goof drawing an Airsoft pistol.

I'm sure the family of the crew is happy with their condolences.

I looked through all the pics and didn't see any with bullet holes. It sounds other than quality work. These days it's all "'hail of bullets', hey, we got a lot of em, don't want em to go bad."
