    Poll !!! Should Scotland vote Yes to leave the UK ? POLL IT !

    The yes vote is gaining momentum in next week's voting .....

    Put your thoughts to this separation.

    I am 10,000 % for it ... no, 100,000 % for it !

    Scotland is too nice to be part of a union with England.

    I spent time in both countries ...

    Third time is the charm. I remember "Scotland free in '93!"

    I voted no, I don't want Scots wandering around without getting permission from a adult first.

    Yes Scots are more socialist than Brits. Let them try it without taking from the rest of the UK.

    Even without that, I would say yes, there needs to be more and more secession, the smaller the state the less damage it can cause.

    Of course I think there should be several billion sovereign states.
    I am not anti Cop I am just pro Citizen.

    of their respect for what only appears to be a law, are cunningly coerced into waiving their
    rights, due to ignorance." (Paraphrased)

    LOL Read Irishman Leonard Wibberly's 1955 The Wrath of Grapes (US The Mouse That Roared) about The Dutchy of Grand Fenwick that declared war on the US for infringing on its Pinot Grand Fenwick .

    As a fan of the Pinot grape, a topic dear to my heart.

    Before I vote, I need to know how leaving the UK will affect the purity of Scotch and the availability of haggis.

    Perhaps - presumably - independence will cause an economic contraction that canny Scots will resist by crafting ever smaller whiskeys and that can only be a good thing.

    And well timed too, for my decision to reserve gin for hot summer weather drink and use whiskey in the winter.

    About haggis, shunned by thee is more for me. Bobbie Burns' Day Supper is coming in early winter, haggis, mashed turnips and potatoes and a dram.

    Oh man! Just thinking about it makes me hungry. Today's breakfast will likely be fresh peach pie with heavy cream.

    Address To A Haggis

    Fair fa' your honest, sonsie face,
    Great chieftain o' the pudding-race!
    Aboon them a' yet tak your place,
    Painch, tripe, or thairm:
    Weel are ye wordy o'a grace
    As lang's my arm.

    The groaning trencher there ye fill,
    Your hurdies like a distant hill,
    Your pin was help to mend a mill
    In time o'need,
    While thro' your pores the dews distil
    Like amber bead.

    His knife see rustic Labour dight,
    An' cut you up wi' ready sleight,
    Trenching your gushing entrails bright,
    Like ony ditch;
    And then, O what a glorious sight,
    Warm-reekin', rich!

    Then, horn for horn, they stretch an' strive:
    Deil tak the hindmost! on they drive,
    Till a' their weel-swall'd kytes belyve
    Are bent like drums;
    Then auld Guidman, maist like to rive,
    Bethankit! hums.

    Is there that owre his French ragout
    Or olio that wad staw a sow,
    Or fricassee wad make her spew
    Wi' perfect sconner,
    Looks down wi' sneering, scornfu' view
    On sic a dinner?

    Poor devil! see him owre his trash,
    As feckles as wither'd rash,
    His spindle shank, a guid whip-lash;
    His nieve a nit;
    Thro' blody flood or field to dash,
    O how unfit!

    But mark the Rustic, haggis-fed,
    The trembling earth resounds his tread.
    Clap in his walie nieve a blade,
    He'll mak it whissle;
    An' legs an' arms, an' hands will sned,
    Like taps o' trissle.

    Ye Pow'rs, wha mak mankind your care,
    And dish them out their bill o' fare,
    Auld Scotland wants nae skinking ware
    That jaups in luggies;
    But, if ye wish her gratefu' prayer
    Gie her a haggis!

    Hadrian's Wall, mostly still there, just needs to be brought up to code. Put in a toll booth.

    I like to make my own homemade haggis ... I substitute in other ingredients for many of the "standard" ingredients
