asked ths question when I lived in NKC. Was told that we " DONT WANT TO GET INTO ALL THAT. Its time time get into all that. whats the current philosopy? I know that NKC was hardcore against it back then, how about now that state law is against them?Can I open cary?

With a CCW endorsement, yes. Without...if A5 means anything, yes, but that may likely take a substantial amount of disposable income to prove that point. Cheaper, for the time being, to have a endorsement. Also, invest in a recording device.

I suspect that the AG won't be driving down to the Wentzville area to defend me from a bogus gun charge by the local cop shop.

The real question is what can you do to a prosecutor who chooses to go forward with a bogus gun charge? That would be the $0.64 question.
