    Colo Supreme Court Justices

2 of them are up for retention vote. Anyone have a link to which side they voted on the original 2004 case when it went to the COSC in 2006?

Every link I have googled so far gives no mention of who voted for which side and that was information I know that many rights groups said they would be acting on in the future. Last time I had to call the COSC and Justice Coats office to get an answer, which took a day to get from there even.

Very interested in this as well.
"The very atmosphere of firearms anywhere and everywhere restrains evil interference - they deserve a place of honor with all that's good" - George Washington
"Among the many misdeeds of the British rule in India, history will look upon the act of depriving a whole nation of arms, as the blackest." - Mahatma Gandhi

As always, insert standard IANAL disclaimer here.

The First protects the Second, and the Second protects the First. Together, they protect the rest of our Bill of Rights and our United States Constitution, and help We the People protect ourselves in the spirit of our Declaration of Independence.

If that site has info from before 2009 on how anyone voted, I can't find it. 2009 and later, they ONLY cover votes over the past two years for the judges actually on the ballot (making it difficult to find out how THIS year's judge voted on something in (say) 2011).

The two supremes were both appointed after 2008 by democrat Governors. www.judgepedia.com

As for the rest, only judges that were appointed from 1999-2007 were appointed by a republican Governor, Bill Owens.

That's what I went by when I voted. It's payback time.

I voted today. Stumbled across the BEST Voting Information Site EVER

    BallotPedia.

The link is to the Attorney General page. What I really like about this website is that it provides a very high degree of detail about controversial issues, such as Prop 105, the Mandatory Labeling of GMOs.

At the Prop 105 page, you'll find not only who's supporting it and who's opposing it, but you'll also find their reasoning, as well as what they're spending to push the issue one way or the other.

The site also contains the same info, verbatim, as printed in the blue handbooks. Handy if, like me, you don't like reading info from the blue book.

As a rule of thumb if I don't have specific information as to why a judge should be retained, I always vote against them. I also look to see if they were appointed by a Dem or a Rep; Dem appointees ALWAYS get voted against.

Interesting read, no surprise that Monsanto is the #1 contributor against 105.

Indeed. However, none of the props in CO affect Open Carry or the 2nd Amendment. Judicial terms can and do.

Interesting, and to get back on point, I used your reference site.

    Thank you!
