So if you vote you can continue to be a parasite on the working folk? Must be a liberal group.
Freedom is a bit like sex, when your getting it you take it for granted, when you're not you want it bad, other people get mad at you for having it and others want to take it away from you so only they have it.

Why participate in a system that treats one so bad? It legitimizes the gov't actions.

Then they'll just do whatever they want. You should vote against any tax increases and for liberty minded candidates. In the end though, we're screwed either way. 99% don't vote on a non-agression principle..... or really any principle at all. Even the ones who want "limited government" have a long list of exceptions. When you add those exceptions up......you get Amerika!
“If the natural tendencies of mankind are so bad that it is not safe to permit people to be free, how is it that the tendencies of these organizers are always good? Do not the legislators and their appointed agents also belong to the human race? Or do they believe that they themselves are made of a finer clay than the rest of mankind? ” -Bastiat

I don't "need" to openly carry a handgun or own an "assault weapon" any more than Rosa Parks needed a seat on the bus.

IMO voting can be used as a tool without conceding that the system is legitimate. As long as it isn't your only tool, and you don't forget that ultimately it's not a legitimate system, and not your only recourse, then I think it's ok to throw a vote in the pot to maybe keep something from getting to a level that it'll have to be dealt with in another way.

In MO, the vote got us A5.
"I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it." - Thomas Jefferson.

"Better that ten guilty persons escape, than that one innocent suffer" - English jurist William Blackstone.
It is AFAIK original to me. Compromise is failure on the installment plan, particularly when dealing with so intractable an opponent as ignorance. - Nightmare
