Study: Day After Election The ‘Saddest Day Of The Year’ For ‘Partisan Losers’

A new study conducted by The John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University suggests some people get so upset after their candidate loses an election, it’s worse than a national tragedy for them. Researchers found that losing an election created increases in sadness and decreases in happiness that were twice as intense and severe as the Boston Marathon bombings had on people who lived in Boston and the Newtown shooting had on people who were parents.

The Milwaukee JS still has not written a coherent article, their grapes are so sour. The Washington Times had a poll of "Who should be blamed" that did not list George W. Bush. I see no mention crediting the TEA Party, nor the LP for splitting the progressive vote.
I am responsible for my writing, not your understanding of it.

I'm a libertarian who used to live in chgo .... believe me, you get over it.

I'm not a psychologist but I'll play one here.

To get over the "depression" go and build yourself a NEW GUN.

All will be well and you are better prepared.

And if your candidate wins (I had 2 win this week that I wanted to win) then celebrate by building a NEW GUN.

    Ahhhh.either way...I get a new gun. Sweet.

it's definately the saddest day, because.............

Obama still has two years left in office and everybody has told him what a crappy job he is doing. Yet he has the arrogance to stand up in front of the cameras and say that the election really doesn't matter to his agenda, because many folks who were eligible to vote didn't bother, therefore they must agree with his policies. I am not sure how he makes that leap of faith, but I can't wait until 2016 is done and we are done with him.

    Putin 2016!

America would have better chance of reform under him than Hilary or Jeb.

The new AG (that he must have found living under a bridge) will turn his presidency around !

    He's worse than Carter IMO.

It's a well-known fact the two most contentious topics on the planet are religion and politics.
The First protects the Second, and the Second protects the First. Together, they protect the rest of our Bill of Rights and our United States Constitution, and help We the People protect ourselves in the spirit of our Declaration of Independence.
