Oregon gun laws (Possession & Transfer)

a friend invited me to go shooting in Tillamook state Forrest mid December, I am resident of Washington state...

are there any transfer provisions similar to i-594 in Oregon... or is being a WA resident going to land me in problems if I let him shoot my weapon? (or I shoot his?)

None if you are otherwise legally allowed to posses the firearm (eg. not a felon).

If you ever want borrow a firearm just drive into Oregon, make the swap, then head back into WA. Just don't make a change of ownership while in OR.
