A shout out to the LGBT community at the I-594 rally (Olympia, WA, 2014)

I loved that Dillon White represented the LGBT community, at the F&CK I-594 rally today. I felt honored to disrespect an impotent law with a rainbow-bedazzled item.
Thank you Dillon White for showing up. Thank you Dan Smith, for filming. Thank you Gavin Seim for putting it together.

They have the same error as most people do though about military service .... you are not defending our rights while in the service ... just following orders of people who can only take them away or limit them.

I never thought I was defending anyone's rights while I was in the service ... just there to kill commies.

So wait, you weren't all like "come and try me!", at which point they all went home?

Did they go home out of fear, or from disgust?

Trust me. As this is a LGBT themed thread, the distinction makes a huge difference in the meaning of "come and try me".

Is "squadron" a group of coworkers or a pet name?

    Braggadocio in either case.

Of course, we still need to determine causation.

    Fear or disgust?

Missed a few, they were hiding in Washington DC the whole time.
Provision for free medical attendance and nursing, for clothing, for food, for housing, for the education of children, and a hundred other matters, might with equal propriety be proposed as tending to relieve the employee of mental strain and worry. --- These matters obviously lie outside the orbit of congressional power. You do remember your oath you swore, right? There was a part about supporting and defending the Constitution of the United States of America, against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

I did not kill anyone. I was not a soldier. I was a medic. My oath never expired.
