Very interesting view, with the expected inaccuracy(-y, +ies).

    Please don't delete Grapeshot.

I carry to defend my loved ones; Desensitizing and educating are secondary & tertiary reasons. Anything else is unintended.

Yep. Typical media piece overlooking the important issues.

We could've had some fun with this. I'm sure there was no real danger of Grapeshot being deleted.

Really, I thought it was pretty good. Hey, there are now *rational* academics studying the topic. 20 years ago that would have been a pipe dream.

Too bad the article doesn't have a comments section. I would really love to hear what the average Brit has to say. I suspect it may be more favorable to firearms than the BBC could stand.

They would, because Brits believe defending yourself with a butcher knife gets a little messy.

I especially related to the last paragraph"

"There are many pro-gun Americas," she says, adding: "Once you can exercise a right, it becomes a lot more meaningful to you."

Especially exercising the II & IV Amendments.

I was really surprised that Texas was anti open carry so I found this link to a map with all the states pro and against as of 8/22/14
