I know there is a constitutional carry bill coming, just don't know the bill number yet.

If constitutional carry passed, it would render a majority of the above bills unnecessary. The one that irks me is SB26. Why not just remove the prohibited places and any meetings where elected or appointed officials are present from the SDA? That would open it up to both legislators and the public and they wouldn't need to be CLEET certified.

But that means armed people could go see their government officials while armed and heaven forbid we can't have that. Tensions could get high....horses may faint and women may stampede.

There are some issues with constitutional carry though like the Federal Gun Free School Zone Act of 2005. I know there have been bills in the past that would cover this as well, but I haven't seen any of those this year either.

Thanks for all the wonderful info.

I wish there could be a bill that would allow those with handgun licenses to carry while in vehicles owned by an employer. I hate not having my handgun on me while at work.

There will never be a bill that forces employers to do this.

Be careful what you wish for. While we all want to carry everywhere its government intrusion that has causex us so much headache. If you start requiring anything at the job site by law then when will it stop?

Again i agree we should be able to defend ourselves anywhere anyplace but give the government an inch and they want the continent

Did any of the gun bills make it anywhere, except the one that raises the cost of everything?

The only bills that have moved anywhere so far the one that would require you to file online when paying with a credit/debit card and the one that makes misdemeanor drug charges a 10 year preclusion from last date of sentence.
