Armed Robber shot in Newark market robbery; no charges.

Okay, I'm agreeing with some of the comments that the "reporter" took some liberties in his title to the article, but looks like a store owner shot an armed robber. The article says that the store owner was in legal possession of the firearm.

Is it legal for any store owner to possess a firearm at his business in New Jersey? If so, can a store owner grant this permission to employees or others on his property, and also how would this work for an "employee-owned" business?

Sorry about that. I'll edit it into the OP.

Oh if only the security cam had audio and those really WERE the thugs last words. That would be something to shove in the faces of the anti's with a deeply heartfelt "WE TOLD YOU SO!"

Certainly a clean shoot, good on the owner that he had the brains to own protection, guts to use it, and luck that the prosecutors chose not to charge him. However, I'm sure the family of this lawless moron will have no problem suing the owner for "wrongful" death.
