Politicians and their swine enforcers really are the most base people in society. Luckily, they're also stupid.
Why do you think they are hero's? That's awfully nice of you brother.

They tell me they are. The state and the media tell me it's true also. If in the state "I live and move and have my being", then it naturally follows that its enforcers are kind of a big deal!

Don't these bill sponsors like to show off in chambers what their evil objects are capable of? This one should be no exception.

And I am an irresponsible gun owner and irresponsible body armor owner. I commit no crimes.

The use of the word "responsible" is a red herring word. You have zero duty to be a responsible anything.

Does this means all those useless SWAT raid cops heroically murdering and maiming innocent people will be brought up on charges for their BA?

When a liberal politician tacks the word "RESPONSIBLE" onto a bill you know they are trying to slip one up your tailpipe!

yeah exactly. If you have a problem with the blatant trashing of the BOR in the name of security you're not a "Patriot".

    Enforcement??

How will any .gov know how much and what type of BA I have? I don't even know. I was in a closet yesterday and found a plate carrier that I had forgotten. If I am wearing body armor, there will be a very apparent reason.

When they outlaw those pants worn below the crack, I might get behind the law~~~~~~~~Nawwww even that would be a stupid law. We should outlaw stupid unconstitutional laws.

    It should read...

H.R. 378 codifies that all gun-owning persons ages 18 and up, WILL OWN a set body armor. This bill sets aside funds, in the form of a voucher, for every firearm owning citizens of these United States and shall be redeemed within one calendar year. Citizens who do not redeem their body armor vouchers will have their voucher used by either members of local <city, county, state> law enforcement or federal <military or government agent> service.

The Responsible Body Armor Possession Act is also supported by the NRA, GOA, SAF, JPFO, the Pink Pistols, the Well Armed Woman, Women Warriors PAC, CCRKBA, NAGR as well as being denounced by a collective known now as the Bloomberg and Soros Connection.

The Responsible Body Armor Possession Act – This bill allows law enforcement to respond to active shooting situations more effectively. The bill prohibits the purchase, sale, or possession of military-grade body armor by anyone except certain authorized users, such as first-responders and law enforcement.
Well, I am a Citizen of the US and since whenever I find the need to notify the armed stenographers of a need to respond to a scene of a crime is see in progress makes me the FIRST RESPONDER! And I am already there!
    RIGHTS don't exist without RESPONSIBILITY!

Indeed, using the term "first responder" to mean police and paramedics is an insult to victims and witnesses.

Exactly. In 25 years, I've been the first responder to a car accident, a motorcycle accident, and a fire.

Oh, and a fight, which I dispersed by sheer dint of superhuman wit, something like, "Ok, enough, enough. Go home, people. Go home." By the time the cops got to the fight, I was in the restaurant having dinner on the house.
